STUDENT PARTICIPATION
Students K‑12, junior colleges, & universities
Youth participants gain:
- Hands‑on agricultural experience

- Transferable skills (communication, teamwork, problem‑solving)
- Service‑learning hours
- Confidence, leadership, and community pride
Youth roles are learning‑focused, emphasizing education, skill-building, structured service, and guided teaching moments.
ADULT PARTICIPATION
Parents, community volunteers, college adults, & young adults
Adult participants gain:
- Community service opportunities
- Exposure to agricultural contracting and entrepreneurship
- Leadership roles in team coordination
- Opportunities for workforce placement, seasonal work, or paid contracting
- Support roles for youth groups during Ag Heroes Days
Adult roles can be service‑based or workforce‑based, depending on their goals:
